Summertime

Hello! I haven’t posted for a while and wanted to let you know about some current and upcoming events.

Firstly, my Fibrearts Take Two online workshop ‘Collections as a Catalyst’ will be opening for registrations very soon, in the next few weeks! You can register your interest here. It’s a beautifully curated and presented set of videos about making inspirational works from objects and collections. I have had a ‘sneak peek’ and it really does look very special.

I am exhibiting at the Cowslip Workshops’ Summer Fair next weekend July 20 and 21, in Cornwall. If you are near Launceston, it should be well worth a visit… I am also teaching there on 22 and 23 July, spaces are available.

I am exhibiting some new works through the summer until August 16 at the Cripps Law Firm in Tunbridge Wells, an exhibition called ‘Home Work’. You need to email them to arrange a visit. It has been arranged and curated by June Frickleton.

In Australia, I am also part of ‘Birds in the Hunter’ an exhibition at the Artisan Collective Port Stephens, organised by Timeless Textiles Gallery. It is on until the end of July.

I am in the process of updating my courses for next year and there are still a few with spaces available this year here.

Wishing all of you and yours a very happy and creative summer!

x Anne
