I enjoy being a tutor alongside my exhibiting and writing and learn much from my students wherever they may be. I have some exciting workshops, one day and residential, coming up this year. Full listings are here.

I am part of a wonderful community exhibition at the Amelia in Tunbridge Wells, which is on until June. I have work selected for the Broderers Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery in London opening next week. The Embroiderers Guild is continuing to tour the work from the Knitting and Stitching shows and members challenge to the Fashion and Embroidery Show at the NEC from March 13-16.

I’m giving a short half day workshop at Maidstone Museum on March 1 from 10-1. ‘Japanese Postcards’ is coinciding with their exhibition on Japanese prints. Tickets available here.

I’m delighted to be returning to West Dean College in London Bloomsbury on April 2 and 3 for ‘Stitched Vintage Recycled Textiles’, limited spaces.

As part of a tour to the USA I am teaching a one day ‘Bird Postcard’ workshop at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiberarts on June 1 – booking here.

Also back at West Dean College near Chichester from 23-26 June for a new course ‘Make a Wall Hanging Inspired by Mid-Century Textiles’, book through their site.

I am teaching at Alex Waylett’s studio on September 17 and 18 ‘Matryoskha Nesting Dolls’ and ‘Folk Tales’, limited spaces for both.

Returning to Le Manoir Aux Ecureuils in France from 25 September – 1 October for two courses ‘Manor, Castle, House’ and ‘Vintage Botanical’. Book online here.

Other courses later in the year including this wonderful visit to Paris in December are on my website page.

My new book ‘Abstract Textiles’ will be published in July and launch events will be announced in the spring. You can preorder it now!
