I’ve had a lovely extended summer break with family in North America, punctuated by my solo exhibition ‘Unfinished Journey’ at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, on until 20 September. It has been a busy time with lots of highlights and great to share it with my children and grandchildren.

It’s time to get back to work and the season kicks off with some exciting courses. I’m mentioning only those that have spaces – for a full list of public courses you can see my website.

The weekend of October 3-4 will be two new bespoke workshops at the Makers House Ramsgate, a new venue sponsored by Batsford Books. I’m excited to teach there and explore the town. Very limited spaces are availiable. Contact ppowell@batsfordbooks.com for further information.

Further ahead the newly refurbished Studio Preniac is taking bookings for my summer course ‘Folk Art Home’ next year 20-27 May for ‘Folk Art Home’.
