Maudie’s House, for the Embroiderer’s Guild members’ ‘Home’ Exhibition

I am selling work in my shop on this site and donating 10% of all sales to our local Nourish Community Foodbank. I am also contributing to the great Artist Support Pledge on social media with 10 % of those sales also going to Nourish.

I was delighted to be shortlisted to the second round of judging for the prestigious Vlieseline Fine Art Textiles Award this year with ‘Stay at Home’.

I’m pleased to have had a piece ‘Bird 2’ selected for the Swiss Fiber Art Collective’s exhibition ‘ Un/framed – selected hoop art’ which is exhibiting in the Kunstraum Winterthur from 3- 10 October 2020 and at the Nadelwelt Friedrichschafen in Germany from 6 November.

I’m completely thrilled and excited to announce my solo exhibition at the Ruthin Craft Centre, Wales.

The exhibition will focus on work connecting travel and identity and coincides with the publication of my fourth title for Batsford Books called ‘Textile Travels’ available now. https://www.pavilionbooks.com/2020/10/02/textile-travels-with-anne-kelly/. Workshops 2020-21

I was delighted to be a part of a new series of online workshops with French General ‘New England Roots’ part of their Threads Together – Stitched Apart series – details here – more coming soon!

‘Tea on the Pantiles’ a kit for Pincushion Pantiles, with applique and embroidery from their website. Inspired by the beautiful Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

2021

Many of these listings have been rescheduled and are being held with safety guidelines and social distancing in place.

I have been asked to tutor at the wonderful West Dean College. ‘Folk Art Narratives’ is in January from 28th – 31st. Details about the course and new safety measures here. Course is FULL

Really looking forward to joining Jo and her team at Cowslip Workshops in Cornwall for two courses in her newly refurbished premises, with all safety measures in place. ‘Western Weeds’ one day course on 26th March and ‘Travels in Textiles’ on 27 and 28 March. Details here.

Thrilled to be returning to the lovely Unit 12 on April 10th in Staffordshire for a one day socially distanced (of course!) workshop ‘ House and Home’. Details here.

Delighted to be joining French General in France next June 2-9 for a week of French- inspired making and living. Workshop is FULL.
